95 minutes; Not Rated (est. PG)

Sometime in the 1970’s, in a small town in Negros, the post office simply stops operating. No one knew except for the postman and his caretaker. Nor finds out about this secret, reading letters hidden in an old warehouse. He takes advantage to write to Karen, whose absent husband works overseas in Saigon. Without regard to consequennces, Nor finds himself truly falling in love.

Shot entirely on location in Negros Occidental, Ligaw Liham is based on real events and recalls a simpler time without the internet or mobile phones, when hearts were poured out on paper through the scribbling of a pen, and hopes soared or disappointment delivered across the globe via the purchase of a postage stamp.
