Christine
Gambito's appearance last night was a certified HIT and audience
pleaser at San Diego Asian Film Festival, running now through October
16 at UltraStar Mission Valley! Christine drew a
full house,
showed choice video clips, was interviewed by SDAFF Executive Director
Lee Ann Kim, answered audience questions, and graciously
signed for a long line of fans.

Philippine
Cinema Showcase!
And Philippine Cinema Showcase will reprise the BEST of SDAFF's
Philippine programs, bringing shorts program "Manila
& Beyond"; and acclaimed features Santa Mesa
(which won SDAFF's Best Narrative Feature Award!)
directed by Ron
Morales; and Foster
Child and Tirador,
both directed by Dante
"Brillante" Mendoza, starting Friday, October 17.

Diego Asian Film Festival is
the premiere event of the San
Diego Asian Film Foundation (SDAFF), a
nonprofit organization dedicated to upholding and sharing the diverse
legacy of Asian Pacific Islanders through the media arts. Thousands of
patrons will experience films from around the world and connect with
the artists who created them. In addition, SDAFF offers a quarterly
film series, a membership program, and documentary training for local
